Car care guides
Choose a panel list and finish that match your paint-protection priorities.
A driver who mainly wants front-end coverage may make a different choice from someone who wants broader body protection. Start by describing where you want protection and how you use the car. Finesse is a 3M shop; ask which 3M film is included in the quote, which finish is available and which panels receive it.
Compare PPF packagesDo not rely only on package names. Ask whether the hood, bumper, fenders and mirrors are included in a front-end proposal and whether each panel is covered fully or partially. For broader coverage, list the additional painted areas. Clarify trim exclusions and any pieces that need separate discussion before the installation is scheduled.
A quote should explain the film, surface preparation and agreed coverage. Tell us about existing film, paint repairs, scratches and any specialty finish. The installation plan should reflect the surface that is actually on the vehicle. Discuss what existing defects will remain and what preparation is included before selecting protection.
Understand paint preparationThe coverage preview helps you discuss packages. Your written panel list determines the work agreed for the car, including edges, painted sections and excluded trim. Ask about areas you are unsure of while the quote is being prepared. This is especially useful when a package name does not fully describe the coverage you have in mind.
Ask when the vehicle can be washed, which cleaning products suit the selected film and what to do if contamination or an edge concern appears. Keep the film details and any applicable warranty paperwork. Your product and installation instructions are more useful than a generic promise that all films need the same care.
